Anistratov Border Pipes
Anistratov Border pipes are available in key Bb, A
and G.
This pipes are wonderfull instrument both for solo pipers and for the band musicians. They have the same fingering and similar frequency range of the Highland pipes but have a quieter, softer and sweeter tone.
Anistratov Border pipes are perfectly crafted elegant bagpipes which will be an excellent addition to the Hihland or Smallpiper arsenal.
It should be noted that all Border pipes are build as bellowsblown which means all of sets can be only equipped with bellows and cane chanter reeds.
Chanters
All of Alexander’s chanters are precisely tuned to concert A 440 Hz pitch.
The chanter scale is a Myxolidanian which means it has flattened seventh.
The jewelry setup of a reed combining with conical bore has the added advantage of cross-fingered accidental notes such as: Bb, C, D#, F and G#.
It makes Anistratov Border pipes chanter fully chromatic. Also the range can be expanded by installing the additional keyes.
